The Lost Sheep Booklet

I created The Lost Sheep Booklet for a friend entering the Catholic Church. Designed as a Catholicism 101 resource, the booklet includes prayers, the order of the Mass, how to pray the rosary, Catholic teachings, saint descriptions, resources, and more. Inspired by the biblical parable of the lost sheep—“once was lost and now is found”—the theme felt fitting for someone beginning their faith journey. I designed the booklet from scratch, using soft pink and aesthetic colors to resonate with a modern 21-year-old, and maintained consistent typography throughout for a polished, cohesive look. This was a joyful project that allowed me to combine faith, design, and creativity. Please see the full booklet below.

Thank You Newsletters

For a recent mission trip to the Cayman Islands, I created a thank-you newsletter to show appreciation to my sponsors for their generous support. I wanted the design to feel fun, colorful, and engaging—a step beyond a simple word document. To achieve this, I pulled a vibrant color palette directly from my trip photos and layered those colors behind and over the images. A playful headline font was chosen to immediately draw attention to the message. The overall goal was to deliver a newsletter that was both informative and visually appealing, expressing gratitude in a way that reflected the joy and energy of the mission experience.

Over the summer, I worked a seasonal position in Colorado and fundraised to make the experience possible. To thank and update my supporters, I created two newsletters that combined photos, Bible verses, and playful typography to make them engaging and enjoyable to read. Designing these newsletters was both fun and meaningful, as they allowed me to creatively share my experiences while reflecting on my summer.
